The Winneba Market was gutted by fire Thursday evening, Joy News has learnt.
It comes barely 24 hours after the Pedestrian Mall in Circle, Accra was also gutted by fire.
An eye witness told Joy News, the fire at the Winneba Market started around 630 pm.
But for the timely intervention of the fire personnel, the whole market would have been razed down, he added.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire but the fire personnel have begun investigations into it.
