Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong will join Wolves on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has made 14 appearances this season - starting three Premier League matches, three Carling Cup ties and three Champions League games.
He will bolster a Wolves midfield that lost Jamie O'Hara for a month after he had surgery on a double hernia.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy said: "I'm delighted because I think he's a terrific young player."
Wolves ended their year with a 1-1 draw at Bolton on Saturday and sit two points clear of the relegation zone in 16th.
Frimpong could be available to play at home against Chelsea on 2 January.
Arsenal appear to be well-stocked in midfield, with Jack Wilshere - who came through the club's youth system with Frimpong - and Abou Diaby working their way back to fitness.
