Arsene Wenger has dismissed suggestions he could be about to retire after 20 years as Arsenal manager.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of his side's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Burnley, Wenger, 66, hinted that he could extend his stay at Emirates Stadium having won three Premier League titles - in 1998, 2002 and 2004 - and six FA Cups at the London club.
Wenger is easily the longest serving manager in the Premier League, and could yet challenge Sir Alex Ferguson's 26-year stint at Manchester United if decides to head another rebuilding job at the club heading towards the age of 70.
Ferguson departed the scene as United manager at the age of 71 in 2013, but media reports suggest Wenger is on the verge of signing a new two-year extension to his contract which would run until 2019.
Wenger is widely credited with helping manage the club's finances properly while they moved from Highbury to Emirates Stadium a decade ago.
The £470m cost of the move to the Emirates affected Wenger's ability to compete in the transfer market while the construction costs were repaid.
“There’s 18 months left, that’s an eternity. I’m committed to this club," said Wenger.

"I don't imagine at this moment to manage anywhere else. Will I stop working once I stop managing at a competitive level? No, I will always try to work if I have health and try to be useful.
"Maybe it will be a different level. It could be managing kids or developing young players but I will not run for FIFA."
Arsenal are chasing a third straight FA Cup success after lifting the trophy at Wembley in 2014 and 2015.
Wenger plans to hand David Ospina a start to replace Petr Cech. New signing Mohamed Elneny could feature with Francis Coquelin is also in line to start.
“We have to earn the right to qualify. I will make some changes for the game.”
