Working with 194 member states, across six regions the World Health Organisation (WHO) is considered a key factor in the healthcare systems of many countries.
Since the discovery of the new coronavirus in China and the declaration of Covid-19 as a pandemic, the Organisation has been the go-to entity for direction on how to contain the situation in member states.
The WHO has however come under criticism for being too slow, and perhaps responsible for the extent of the spread.
