All is set for the first ever Swagger show in Ghana - a flex of the nation’s finest rappers. The event which will take place on the 12 and 13th of September 2009 at the Silver Star Tower and Roxbury Nite Club respectively has been hyped as one of the best shows to hit the capital and Ghana as a whole. Emmanuel Numekevor, Chief Marketing Officer of ELN Theatre Consults, the event organisers in an interview with Myjoyonline.com reacted to concerns about the show coming at a time when another major show, the Busta Rhymes Concert is set to hit Accra the same day. He said, “We are not trying to compete with the Busta Rhymes show. The industry needs variety and that is what we are giving to the people.” ‘Da First Swagger’ which will be hosted by Jon Germain of Allo Tigo fame is billed to see artistes like Ayigbe Edem, Asaase Aban, Konfi, Pope Skinny and a host of others performing.
