The hugely anticipated 3rd edition of the Azumah Nelson boxing event dubbed Azumah Nelson Fight Night (formerly VIP Fight Night) returns on Saturday April 1 at the Bukom Boxing Square. Promising boxers from Ghana, Benin and Lebanon will light up the crowd at the newly constructed boxing gymnasium.
This is the first time that the event will take place at the Bukom Boxing Arena after the previous two editions were held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra in June and October 2016.
The Azumah Nelson Fight Night Round 3 returns with five exciting match-ups lined up to make Accra the Las Vegas of African boxing. They include the National Super Featherweight Championship banter between Wahab Oluwaseun and Abraham Osei-Bonsu as well as the National Super Bantamweight contest between Isaac Sackey and Kamarudeen Boyefio.
Sherif Quaye squares off with Michael Dodo in a National Lightweight Championship battle with Ghanaian Raphael Mensah and Beninois Fatiou Fassious set to rumble in the International Middleweight contest.
The final bill on the night will see Lebanese Elias Farah facing off with Ghanaian ferocious Musa Rahman Lawson in an International Middleweight Amateur contest.

The Azumah Nelson Fight Night is an initiative of the legendary African boxer aimed at providing exposure for boxing talents in Africa. It’s intended to develop and sharpen their skill-set with a view of helping the boxers to improve in confidence needed to become world beaters.
There are plans to engage other boxers from Mexico, USA and more African nations in subsequent editions.
Fans are assured of edge-of-the-seat action as these highly trained boxers, having been personally screened by ‘The Professor’ have no qualms about throwing power-packed punches in all manner of dexterity to win their bouts
The Azumah Nelson Fight Night is a non-biased boxing promotion and will be shown on television.
