Yussif Basigi has left his role as head coach of Hasaacas Ladies after 21 years with the club, Joy Sports can confirm.
The 52-year-old is expected to sign for Tanzanian side Simba Queens following the decision to step down from his position at the Takoradi-based outfit.
Basigi will sign a one-year deal with Simba Queens as he targets a new adventure after several years in Ghana.
He left the shores of Ghana for Tanzania over the weekend having recently returned from leading the Black Princesses at the 2024 U-20 Women's World Cup Cup in Colombia.
Basigi had been with Hasaacas since 2003 when he officially commenced his coaching badges before going on to become the head coach of the men's team.
He took over the female side in 2013 and led them to win the inaugural edition of the Ghana Women's Premier League where they defeated Fabulous Ladies in the final.
While in charge at the club, the gaffer led the Hasmal Ladies to five league titles while they were also winners of the FA Cup competition in 2021.
During the 2020/21 season, Basigi championed the club to win the maiden edition of the WAFU B Women's Champions League going on to finish second in the CAF tournament during the first edition.
At the moment, Hasaacas Ladies are under the tutelage of assistant coach Mabel Baffoe Eshun as they play in the 2024 Women's Premier Super Cup.
