On the second day of Joy FM's election programme 'Battleground,' panelists placed one of the capital's hotbeds of political activities in Odododiodio constituency in sharp focus.
Host of the programme, Malik Abass Daabu brought listeners up to speed with an in-depth analysis of one of the most keenly contested constituencies in the country.
The highlight of the night's discussion was the comprehensive report by Joy News' Maxwell Agbagba who profiled the constituency, constituents, social and political nuances as well all other issues that would determine how Odododiodio will feature in the 2016 elections.
The panelists took the listeners through a journey into the nooks and crannies of one of Ghana’s election flashpoints which has its political dynamics. They did a good job of bringing the issues that will determine the voting pattern.
The hour-long programme which started on Tuesday with the hotly contested Klottey-Korle Constituency in Accra airs from Monday to Wednesday between 7 p.m - 8 p.m.
Putting Odododiodio in perspective, Joy News' Raymond Acquah took a look at the predominantly Ga community that is simmering with a tension between two men from the same home who want to measure their popularity in the constituency.
Joy FM's Midday news anchor Francis Abban dissected the issue of the Salaga market and London market which is likely to determine whom the electorates will vote for in the upcoming parliamentary election.
And host Malik Daabu sought to understand how a freshly inaugurated boxing emporium has become the reason for optimism for supporters of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency.
