Last week, Mrs. Appiah led one of her most impactful initiatives yet — the Breast Cancer Advocacy Event; “Pink Month Conference themed “My Why - My Strength; My Story.” The campaign united a unique blend of specialist health professionals, survivors, traditional leaders, and community volunteers in a series of outreach activities designed to demystify breast cancer and encourage early screening.
Powerful yet inspiring survivor testimonials and specialist medical advice struck a deep emotional chord. For many women who attended, it was more than an awareness campaign — it was a message of hope and solidarity.

Addressing participants, Mrs. Appiah stressed the urgency of regular checkups and the need to extend screening services to underserved communities. “We cannot lose more mothers, sisters, and daughters to preventable causes,” she said passionately. “Education, early detection, and care can make a big difference.”
