Beyoncé is kicking off the New Year with special unseen footage featuring her loved ones.
The Black Is King singer brought in 2021 while sharing some of her most notable and heartfelt moments of 2020 that included some precious time spent with her three children - daughter Blue Ivy, 8, and twins Sir and Rumi Carter, 3.
Sharing a four-minute video on her Instagram on Friday, Beyoncé, surprised her Beyhive with her highlight reel.
“2020 divided us and united us. Most could not see loved ones and we felt too many losses, but we were united by our humanity,” the talented artist wrote.
“This year for me has been about celebrating joy, chasing happiness, and living in love.”
Special moments include Rumi dancing to the “Savage Remix” by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyoncé; Blue recording a song in the studio; and the mother of three riding around in a golf cart with her twins.
The video also recognizes how the award-winning artist stepped up amid the coronavirus pandemic with the help of her BeyGood foundation which supported Black-owned businesses.
Beyoncé also celebrated moments including her latest Ivy Park collection, impactful speeches that she gave to the graduating class of 2020, her jaw-dropping British Vogue covers, her Black Is King project, her sweeping 2021 Grammy Award nominations and more.
“As we all look forward and pray for new beginnings, my wish for you is that you honor yourself and those you love,” she concluded.
“Celebrate that you are an important individual who contributes to our beautiful collective. Here’s to a better and brighter 2021!”
