The national Under-23 team play Nigeria in an international friendly on November 7 to open the newly built Akpa Ibom Stadium in Uyo.
The Black Meteors who are currently in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, will use the match as part of their preparations for the upcoming qualifiers for the All –Africa games.
President Goodluck Jonathan is scheduled to attend the grand opening of the stadium with many international football icons such as Brazil’s Pele also invited for the occasion.
Coach Malik Jabir’s side will leave Accra on Wednesday November 5 .
