New Black Stars player Felix Annan has pleaded with the fans in Kumasi to troop to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday for Ghana's game with Ethiopia.
The Kotoko keeper could make his Ghana debut should he be given the nod ahead of Richard Ofori and Joseph Addo for the opening qualifier.
Annan has been one of the brightest spots in a woeful Kotoko season so far keeping the most clean sheets in the league so far.
Ahead of a new campaign in a bid to end Ghana's wait for an AFCON title, Annan has become part of the new faces drafted in the team to end this barren spell and he is calling on the fans who are behind him on a weekly basis in the league to put their weight behind them.
“I really appreciate Kotoko fans for their support throughout the season.”
“I want to urge the fan in Kumasi that this is the time for the Black Stars and they should come out and support the team on Sunday.”
The last time Ghana played a competitive game in Kumasi was in 2016 when they defeated Comoros 2-0 in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
