Iconic hip hop superstar Busta Rhymes has been named to headline the two-hour launch show for this year’s M-Net’s Big Brother Amplified when it kicks off Sunday, May 1.
The legendary performer is jetting into Johannesburg this weekend to perform on the Big Brother stage on a night when the continent will meet the new Big Brother housemates.
Busta Rhymes for decades has been setting the standard as a rapper and hip-hop icon, having collaborated with stars like Diddy, Pharrell, Janet Jackson, Chris Brown & Lil Wayne.
He has also made several appearances on the big screen including roles in Shaft, Finding Forrester and Halloween Resurrection. His 2006 album, The Big Bang, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.
Seen by many as a living legend, the artist recently formed his own record label, The Conglomerate, which he partnered with his artiste, J Doe and Reek the Villain on the soon to be released movie soundtrack of the Fast & Furious 5, This is How We Roll (remix).
Busta Rhymes continues to cement his position in the industry as one of the most undeniable performers of all time and it will be a delight to have him on the grand stage to start the 91-day reality show.
