In the wake of the resurgence of armed robbery, senseless killings, and increasing corruption across the globe, a Ghanaian spiritualist and herbalist Alhaji Akanayo Konkronko Managing Director of Black Herbal Clinic at Ntoaso near Nsawam in the Eastern Region, has called for the establishment of spiritual courts to deal with anti-social vices in society. The Spiritual Courts according to Alhaji Konkronko would also help reduce the operations of witches and wizards who have brought hardships and atrocities upon countless innocent people in society.“Christians, moslems, politicians and many other Ghanaians believe in the spiritual as a result, it would not be out of place if such courts are established to handle spiritual cases,” he told THE SUN.He noted that due to lack of meting out punishment in spiritual matters, it has given wicked people the leeway to perpetrate heinous crimes against humanity.“When somebody uses cutlass to butcher his neighbour he is handed to the Police to face the law and this has helped reduce the otherwise astronomical crime rate in society. However when somebody confesses that he or she killed or destroyed the lives of people thought to be wizards, they are allowed to go scott free”, he paused. He continued, “I believed that witches and all those who use Satanic forces to kill human beings should be made to suffer or be punished with imprisonment to serve as a deterrent to others who would want to destroy innocent people. He continued that there are so many people whose lives have been destroyed by fellow beings through the use of satanic powers but nothing is done to them for them to suffer for their evil deeds. If spiritual courts are established, reckless killings and the use of satanic powers would certainly be overcome in our society,” he told THE SUN.According to Akanayo, the society has been deprived of great men and women who would have played key roles towards the upliftment of Africa through strange deaths brought over by witches and wizard who hate development and progress. He noted that despite differences in religion, Ghanaians believe in the spiritual since the world is made up of the physical and the spiritual. Alhaji Konkronko said in olden days when traditional rulers used to sit on spiritual cases, it help reduce witchery and wickedness in society. The Alhaji noted that since traditional rulers abandoned the handling of such cases, many people have resorted to the use of curses and satanic powers to destroy peoples’ lives. The spiritualist said, when such courts are established, suspected evil practitioners and their agents could be handed to a spiritual jury for examination after which charges could be preferred against guilty parties. . He noted that when such courts are established, judgment should be based on confession. “If people are made to be accountable so much of the wickedness in society would vanish”, he concluded. He opined that if for instance the Accra Metropolitan Authority (AMA) wants to sack hawkers from the pavement, they should hand it over to spiritualists after which he was sure that the next day no single hawker would trade on the pavements,” he said.Alhaji Konkronko stated that Ghana would be a wonderful place to live when Ministers, parliamentarians, Electoral officers, Polling Agents, Civil Servants and the technocrats are all made to swear by traditional means, when appointed into office. He noted that about 20% of the death rate in this country can be traced to evil people who do not want to see any good in leading light in society.“If those who use satanic powers are made to face the music, they would use their powers for good things,” he concluded.Source: THE SUN
