The Chief Executive Officer of Jada Rose Beauty Spa in Accra, Mrs Bawuah Rachel, on Saturday, January 10, made a kind donation in support of the upkeep of nine young adults living with various forms of disabilities, and currently under the care of the CEM Ability Village in Accra.
The donation, which she did alongside some friends from the United Kingdom, was to commemorate her 40th birthday celebration which falls on February 17.
The items donated included tables and chairs, bed sheets, gloves, face masks, adult pampers, deodorants, cutlery, bread, ice cream, cooking utensils, detergents and toiletries.

The CEO of Jada Rose Beauty Spa, which specialises in non-surgical body sculpting and body contouring, spa treatments like massage, facial, pedicure and beauty treatments such as micro-blading, mink lash and makeup among others, said seeing the needy and the helpless assisted gives her great joy and fulfillment.
The nine beneficiaries, who were under the care of OAFRICA, a non-profit child-welfare organisation that protects vulnerable children and young adults in Ghana, were picked and accommodated at Frafraha in Accra by the CEM Ability Village, under the care of trained and qualified mothers.

CEM now has the responsibility of providing food, toiletries, clothing, provision of utilities, payment of salaries for the mothers/ caregivers and maintenance for these young adults till the Lord calls them home.
Iris Dovlo, a management member of the CEM Ability Village who received the items on behalf of the beneficiaries commended the CEO of Jada Rose Beauty Spa for coming through for the home.
"On behalf of the Chairman of the CEM Ability Village- Assisted Living, Rev. Dr. Steve Mensah and the entire Board of Trustees, we want to thank you sincerely for extending a helping hand to our young adults living with various forms of disabilities. We do not take it for granted as it was a need which had been made known to the church. Our home is a place of hope and transformation and we believe that is the purpose of our Assisted Living Home."
CEM Ability Village is a charity focused on empowering persons with disabilities (PWDs) to live a more fulfilling and dignified life in society.
Its objective is to help eliminate stigmatization, raise awareness of their needs and provide the requisite services to enable them to integrate into society.

CEM offers health and social care, education and training, while enhancing economic activities for persons living with disabilities.
The Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM), in 2019 unveiled plans to build an Ability Village on a 2,000-acre land size in Ningo in the Greater Accra region.
The plan was revealed three years after the General Overseer of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Rev. Dr. Steve Mensah and partners launched its flagship programme dubbed Day of Help in Accra.
The Day of Help programme over the years has seen the church and its partners providing Persons Living with Disability (PWDs) some support to get them going.
On the 27th of August 2016, Persons Living with Disability converged at the independence square to receive free medical care, food supplies, clothes, home supplies and many more. A similar event was held at the same venue in 2017, and in 2018 the Day of Help program was organized in Tamale in the Northern region.
It has been the long standing dream of Rev. Dr. Mensah to expand the help given to Persons Living with Disability to a more strategic and long term solution.
