Ghana sole competitor in the ongoing Caf champion’s league left Ghana to Egypt today to play their third group game with Al Ahly in Egypt.
Berekum Chelsea who lie second in the group and they will play Group leaders on Saturday in a closed environment.
The head coach of the team, Hans Van Der Plyum stated in an interview with Joy Sports that he is confident and he believes they will put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians.
“When I look at our training activities, then I think our boys are very very well prepared because they know Al Ahly is not a small team. Playing at closed doors will not help the opponents and that is very important”
“We have tried to improve on our defensive department and hopefully we can see that in this match. Let’s forget about Al Ahly being a tough team because when you are for yourself, you are determined and you play with hundred percent concentration and you don’t think much about your opponents because we are going there for a win and the least must be a draw” Van Der Plyum stated.
