An observer has praised a circuit court judge at Kumawu for his frankness, fairness and fortitude.
The observer, a regular attendant of the court who wants to remain anonymous, said he has followed trial sessions of Frank Owusu-Afriyie for sometime now and has come to the conclusion that he deserved to be commended for his good work.
He said the attributes of Mr Owusu-Afriyie clearly manifested when prosecutors who did not do their home work well and fumbled in their presentation of facts were most often reprimanded to make proper presentation and investigation before they come to court.
He said that aside some counsels who appeared in his court also had their fair share of his bluntness when they were asked not to twist their questions in a manner that might confuse witnesses.
Mr Owusu-Afriyie has also appealed to chiefs who come to his court and ask for out of court settlement of some cases to report back to him the aftermath of such cases to enable him ascertain how fair the procedure for mediation was.
