AshantiGold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says he is keen on fighting for a regular place in the Black Stars squad.
The experienced goalkeeper’s exploits and consistency earned him a recall to the Black Stars last week and was between the sticks in last Tuesdays 2-0 defeat to Liberia in an international friendly played in Monrovia, Liberia.
Fatau Dauda who has been one of Ashanti Gold’s best performers for the past four seasons in an interview with JOY Sports noted that he wants to become a regular in Coach Kwasi Appiah’s side ahead of the 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa.
“My hope is to be a regular in the national team for a very long time so I can show Ghanaians what I have in me”.
“The national team is for every Ghanaian player and the only thing is to concentrate on your club because I know you will definitely earn a call up if you are doing well”.
