John Peter Amewu, the Hohoe District Chief Executive has appealed to religious bodies to support the new education reform slated for implementation in September.
He said the pulpit could serve as a vital podium for disseminating government policies and programmes, beside its traditional role of propagating the gospel.
Mr Amewu called on other stakeholders to "come on board" towards making the reforms a masterpiece.
He said human resource, particularly education, held the key for accelerated socio-economic development and called for state/church collaboration towards the realization of this national agenda.
Mr Amewu appealed to the Church to continue to lead the crusade on the Capitation Grant, the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and honouring of tax obligations as their contribution to nation building.
Mr Amewu commended the Church for its intercessory prayers that had brought sustained peace and political tranquility to the country and suggested that the charlatans in the ministry be exposed.
