Three more persons are said to have died following the fatal motor accident which occurred in Tamale Saturday.
Twenty-two were confirmed dead with several more in critical condition following an accident involving a Benz Bus and a Taxi in the Northern Region.
The victims were travelling from Voggu in the Savelugu Nanton district to Tamale for a funeral when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Joy News checks Sunday indicate that three more people have lost their lives bringing the number to 25.
Joy News’ Northern Regional correspondent, Mahama Shaibu said two died yesterday night while the other died early this morning.
He said a couple of households lost about three to four persons describing the mood there as “very, very pathetic”.
As at Sunday noon over 15 of the accident victims have been buried.
