The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has announced a monumental shift in the way December festivities will unfold this year.
Breaking free from the traditional centralised celebrations in bustling cities, particularly Accra, December in Ghana is set to resonate across the entire country.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwasi Agyemang, unveiled the exciting plan to decentralize the December events.
He emphasized the enormity of the celebrations scheduled in various regions, promising that every corner of the country would pulsate with the vibrant energy of the December in Ghana events.
“I can agree to an extent that the events over the years have been centralized but this year, Northern region is hosting three big events, Central, Takoradi and others have all not been left out. The event list for this year’s December in Ghana is large,” he said.
