Deloitte Ghana is taking information security to another level with its ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Training.
The training scheduled for August 12-16, 2024, would help information security professionals to acquire the requisite skills and knowledge to support their respective organisations to plan, implement, manage, monitor and maintain Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
This is in line with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.
The training will focus on the fundamental principles and concepts of ISMS, planning for the ISMS implementation, implementation of ISMS, Monitoring and Measurement if ISMS, amongst others.
Manager, Risk Advisory at Deloitte Ghana, Sherrif Issah, said the prevalence of security incidents, coupled with scarcity of information/cyber security professionals across the globe has made it necessary for individuals to gain the requisite knowledge and practical experience in supporting organisations to plan, implement, manage, monitor and maintain ISMS.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard that helps organizations to manage information security risks.
