Division One Football Clubs are struggling to change the old order of player registration.
The Ghana Football Association has adopted the newly-introduced electronic system and that is posing difficulties for the clubs, majority of whom lack the administrative skills to use the process.
The Division One League Board, organisers of the second-tier league, has extended the deadline from October 11 to 25.
The Chairman of the Division One League Board, Kwame Ntow-Fiako said some of the clubs are finding it extremely difficult to provide the required information for the registration.
The extension being sought will not affect the kickoff date of November 13, 2010.
