Division One League Board Chairman, Lawyer Kwame Ntow-Fiako has revealed that he is not and has never been interested in any of the Ghana Football Association top hierarchy jobs.
He stated this point in an answer to whether he would love to replace the departed Jordan Anagblah who served as the Vice-President of the federation until his demise.
“I can never be the FA Chairman for a minute. I wish someone from outside the geographical boundaries of Ghana would even be considered for the job ahead of me. I don’t have the necessary qualification to handle any of the top jobs be it the FA presidency or the Vice Presidential position.
In all sincerity, I think I can be of use in other areas and would help when the need arises but I would want to stress that I am not interested in any of the top FA jobs.”
Ntow-Fiako has worked as sports administrator and has served as the longest standing member of the Division One League.
With his rich experience, there have been calls for him to vie for the FA vice Presidency.
These comments would now clearly put the issue to rest at least for the time being.
