The Reverend Ishmael Anum-Sai, Chairman of the Calvary Apostolic Revival Church, has asked Christians not to dwell on material gains to measure success in life.
According to him, it was only the peace of God through his word that brought comfort and fulfillment in the life of people. In a Christmas message, Rev. Anum-Sai exhorted Christians to allow the holy spirit to always take centre stage in their lives so that they would be empowered to stand the test of time.He noted that when the focus of Christians was solely on wealth and material gains, the fruits of the holy spirit could not manifest in their lives properly. He therefore advised Christians to balance material with spiritual needs and added that they should reposition themselves in a bid to reap the plentiful blessings of God in the New Year.Using Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ as an example, he said, she positioned herself well and was therefore prepared to allow the promise of God to manifest in her life.He said the celebration of Christ's birth, must resurrect every dead situations in the lives of Christians in order for them to possess their possessions on earth.
