Ten persons including former Roads and Transport Minister, Dr Richard Anane, currently under investigations by the police, are to be charged for various offences against the state by Monday, Joy News has learnt.
Other ministers of state included in the list are said to have been made to write statements to the police on their roles in Ghana International Airlines (GIA).
It is believed they will face charges ranging from stealing, willfully causing financial loss and defrauding the state.
Some difficulties regarding the legal technicalities of initiating criminal proceedings against sitting Members of Parliament (MPs) included in the list is said to have delayed commencement of prosecution.
It has, however, been confirmed Dr Akoto-Osei and Dr Anane have been formally invited by the police.
Dr Anane was on Thursday questioned at the police headquarters for his role in GIA.
He is accused of misleading cabinet to approve a partnership with GIA at a time when Ghana International Airlines did not exist.
