An aspiring national treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Yusif Tedam, says when giving the mandate, he will institute a new technology that will make it easier for members who are in need to reach out to regional executives of the party for assistance.
This is coming on the back of several complaints by the grassroots that they have been neglected by the various hierarchy of the NPP after the party won power in the 2020 national election.
He said the new App will be the third eye to monitor the system to ensure that at the regional and constituency level every member of the party is catered for.
Dr Tedem said if for any reason a member of a constituency is being neglected the new App will identify them to the constituency executives, the regional and eventually the national executives of the party.
According to Dr Tedam, a database in the new App which will be called “Anidasoo App” will contain the details of all constituency members.
The aim is to bring the grassroots and the various executives together – away with the situation where constituency members persistently complain about not having access to their constituency executives and have been neglected by the party.
“The new App will identify all these members and they will receive assistance,” he said.
Dr Tedam says apart from this new application (App) there will be a fund and an insurance scheme to cater for the members in times of health emergencies.
