The family of late musician Ebony paid her an emotional tribute on the sixth anniversary of her passing.
The family gathered at the Osu cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony in her honour as they took turns to share a few words – a gesture that evoked memories and tears.
With a voice filled with emotion, Ebony’s mother prayed for her soul and asked her and other ancestors to protect them from premature death, accidents, sorrow and unfulfilled dreams.

Ebony’s sister, Yaa Foriwaa Opoku-Kwarteng, was lost for words as she was overtaken by emotions.
She prayed for her sister’s soul to continue to rest in peace.
Her father, Mr Opoku-Kwarteng used the opportunity to advocate for road safety to avert a similar situation that befell his daughter on February 8, 2018, on the Sunyani road.
@the1957news Yaw Foriwaa, the elder sister of Ebony, shares a solemn moment with her late sibling as today, 8th February 2024, marks six years since the passing of the Ghanaian sensational singer.
