EDA Logistics Limited, a prominent player in Ghana’s logistics supply sector, has secured two major honours at the 7th Ghana Shippers Awards held in Accra.
The company was adjudged Logistics Service Provider of the Year, while its Chief Executive Officer, Eric Dziedzom Akukumah, won the Promising Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Under Mr Akukumah’s leadership, EDA Logistics has strengthened its position in the industry through a dedicated team, customer-focused operations, and a commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact. The company’s services span freight forwarding as well as import and export management.
The awards, organised by Globe Productions Limited, recognised outstanding contributions to Ghana’s maritime and aviation sectors. This year’s ceremony was themed “Blue Ideas, Bold Moves: Innovating Ghana’s Maritime Value Chain for the Future.”

Speaking after the awards, Mr Akukumah expressed gratitude to the company’s stakeholders.
"EDA Logistics Limited is grateful for this honour. We dedicate this to our team, partners, and customers across the globe," he said.
The Ghana Shippers Awards continues to acknowledge organisations and individuals driving excellence, growth, and sustainability in the logistics and shipping industry. EDA Logistics’ latest achievements reaffirm its commitment to delivering quality services and supporting Ghana’s economic development.
