Edinaman Senior High School bagged 40 points to come first in the Central Region Zone One Inter-Schools and Colleges Cross- Country race held at the Regional Schools and Colleges Park, Adisadel at the week-end.
The eight kilometre race attracted a field of 54 athletes from various schools.
Eguafo Abrem Senior High School took the second position with 47 points followed by Cape Coast Technical Institute at the fourth position with 77 points with Komenda Senior High School placing fifth with 79 points.
Aburaman Senior High School and Aggrey Memorial Zion (SHS) tied for the sixth position with 85 points each, Ghana National Senior High School was eighth with 92 points while Christ the King Academy (SHS) came last with 128 points.
In the Girls division, the six Kilometre race which attracted a field of 42 athletes was won by Ghana National (SHS) with 29 points.
Edinaman Senior High School placed second with 37 points, Aggrey Memorial Zion (SHS) took the third position with 63 points with Mfantsiman (SHS) coming fourth with 65 points.
Aburaman Senior High School placed fifth with 66 points, Christ the King Academy took the sixth position with 87 points while Eguafo Abrem (SHS) came last with 102 points.Source: GNA
