Hearing of the petition challenging the results of the 2012 Presidential Election at the Supreme Court, saw a lot of serious legal moments, tempers rising, contradictory statements, contemptuous statements, summons, apologies, jail sentence, fines and signing of bond of good behaviour.
The Judges, Lawyers and Witnesses used numerous statements, some very serious and others on the lighter side notable amongst them are you and I were not there, on the face of the pink sheet, will you shut, humbled by baptism of fire, people are growing horns and possessed by the Gbeshie Spirit.
The Azonto dance which took the World by storm can be used to illustrate happenings in our environs which is very much applicable to the Election Petition Hearing.
The dance in the video below was named Electionzonto and depicts most of the statements listed above. The concept was by Barima Osei Asare with Paa Kwesi Ackom as director and dance by T - Dancers.
