Some consumers of electricity say power has been relatively stable on Monday, the day announced to begin the end of load shedding during off-peak period.
The country has witnessed an erratic supply of power in the last few months following the destruction of parts of the West Africa Gas Pipeline.
This culminated in a load shedding exercise in parts of the country.
Many domestic and commercial consumers complained bitterly about indiscriminate outages.
On Friday the Energy Ministry announced that the load shedding during off peak periods-between 11:00 pm-6:00 pm- will officially end on Monday.
With extra power from the Ivory Coast, the situation Joy News has learnt has improved.
A section of the consumers who spoke to Joy News said even though they had their lights taken, it was immediately restored.
They hoped the ECG will keep to their promise.
Meanwhile, Director of Operations of the ECG, Tetteh Okine told Joy News consumers will soon see a lot more improvement in supply at night.
