Engen Ghana has officially rebranded as MISA Energy Ghana Limited, marking a bold step in its journey to become a distinctly African energy brand powered by Ghanaian leadership and guided by global standards.
Speaking at the official launch in Accra, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Brent Nartey, said the rebrand signifies a renewed commitment to innovation, customer experience, and sustainable growth. “MISA Energy is more than a new name, it reflects who we are becoming: more innovative, more customer-focused, and dedicated to fueling our customers’ dreams while always putting them first,” he affirmed.

Representing the Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah, Ing. Sulemana Abubakari, Acting Director of Power, commended MISA Energy’s leadership and urged the company to ensure that its new identity delivers tangible advancements in innovation, service excellence, and productivity.
He further encouraged oil marketing companies to align with Ghana’s green transition agenda and pursue strategic partnerships to strengthen industry competitiveness.
Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, challenged MISA Energy to prioritize premium service delivery in the face of growing competition, emphasizing that frontline staff must consistently embody the brand’s values in every customer interaction.

Dr. Riverson Oppong, CEO of the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC), described the rebrand as a defining moment of renewal for the company.
“A new identity is more than cosmetic, it’s an opportunity to re-center your purpose, re-energize your team, and reconnect with your customers and partners. MISA must lead with relevance, trust, and innovation,” he remarked.
As MISA Energy begins this new chapter, the company reaffirms its unwavering commitment to Integrity, Passion, Ownership, Winning Mindset, Excellence, and Respect, with a clear ambition to lead Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector into a future defined by innovation, sustainability, and service excellence.
