Over 35 manufacturers, distributors and retailers in Kumasi and other parts of the country have registered to partake in the maiden Luv Fm Reduction Sales event.
The exhibitors will mount stands at the Golden Tulip Round Pavilion in the Garden City from July 27-29 to sell to thousands of customers.
Officials from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Association of Ghana Industries are expected to join in the opening day this Friday.
Attractions include live band sessions, drama production and the promotion of African clothing and cuisine.
The reduction sales event is aimed at providing a one stop-shop for shoppers to access goods and services at reduced and discounted prices.
Event coordinator, Nana Benyin Anumel, expects exhibitors to excite patrons with their discount offers.
“The mark of making all these exhibitors to be a part of it is for them to assure us that they are doing discounts. If you don’t do discount, it’s half year and your stocks are there, who buys them for you if you don’t do discount. So the trick is let everything go and they can go if only you do discounts”, he said.
Most exhibitors have already committed to offering discounted prices on goods and services, ranging from 10 to 20 percent.
“We’ve decided to give patrons a 10% discount for people to get use to our designs, enjoy the different colours that we use and I’m sure they’ll have a good time going through our different creations”, stated Anabel Jacqueline Addae Adjei, the CEO of Jabel Style.
