The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission will begin re-evaluating 300 public sector jobs on the Single Spine Salary Structure that are in dispute.
The exercise, which is being carried out by accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, is expected to result in a fairer placement of all workers to minimize protests against the structure.
This will see about 300 individuals on a particular job grading and nominated by their respective institutions appearing before the consultants for the three-hour evaluation.
The Chief Executive of the commission, George Smith-Graham, tells Joy Business this will pave way for the implementation of structure on July 1.
