Ashanti Gold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo was on Thursday elected onto the Ghana Football Association's Executive Committee.
He goes onto the Ex.Co as a Premier League Clubs’ representative and fills the vacancy created by the death of Hon. Emmanuel Owusu Ansah three months ago.
Fianoo, a former member of the previous Ex.Co, will take his seat after picking 10 votes to beat off competition from Asante Kotoko's Kwame Baah-Nuako, who had 4 votes and J.F. Mensah of Ebusua Dwarfs, who had 2 votes.
Sixteen delegates, each from every Premier League Club voted at Thursday's election.
