Fire has gutted structures at Abossey Okai, a suburb of Accra, Sunday afternoon reducing car spare parts and other valuables to ashes.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but its level of destruction is all too visible.
Wooden structures said to be illegally mounted on top of an uncompleted one storey building and which hitherto served as homes and store houses for some spare parts dealers all gave way to the marauding fire.
It took hours for fire personnel to put off the fire, Joy News' Kwakye Afreh-Nuamah reported.
It left in its wake ashes of woods and remains of car doors and bumpers.
Owners of the burnt structures are mourning the loss of monies and other valuable properties.
Meanwhile, fire men have begun investigations into the inferno.
