The Board of First Atlantic Bank has appointed Martin Ofori as Acting Managing Director. JOYBUSINESS has learnt the appointment was done about a month ago.
Prior to his nomination, Mr. Ofori was the General Manager, in charge of operational and institutional banking.
Mr. Ofori is a financial economist and a banker with over 13 year of experience.
His appointment follows the rejection of Yomi Akapo as MD by Bank of Ghana last month.
Mr. Akapo was said to have breached the foreign exchange laws, when he was the Managing Director of Access bank.
