First Atlantic Bank Limited has donated assorted items in addition to an undisclosed cash amount to two Children’s Hospitals in Accra and Kumasi.
The bank made separate presentations to the Princess Marie Louise Hospital in Accra and the Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Kumasi respectively.
Making the donation in Accra, the Executive Director of the bank Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo mentioned that the presentations formed part of activities aimed at sharing the bank’s Purple Christmas Experience with the children who unfortunately had to spend the festive occasion in the hospital.
He stated the bank’s preparedness to partner with the two institutions to improve upon health delivery to the children.
Receiving the assorted items and cash donation of behalf of the Princess Marie Louise Hospital, the Medical Superintendent, Dr Eric Sifah expressed the hospital‘s appreciation for the donation which he said was timely and will go a long way to bring smiles to the faces of the children especially during the festive season and assist in procuring some much needed equipment.
Dr. Mrs. Annie Opoku, the Medical Superintendent of the Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Kumasi received the items on behalf of the hospital.
