Fishermen push for more premix fuel ahead of their peak season Fishermen in some parts of the country are calling on government to double the amount of premix fuel supplied them.
Government supplies fishermen with three thousand gallons or thirteen thousand, five hundred litres of premix fuel every week.
However the fishermen say this is woefully inadequate especially as they approach their peak season.
Meanwhile an NGO, Friends of the Nation has stressed that it is important for the current distribution system of the fuel to be reviewed.
