Joy News has learnt the main road linking Dambai and Hohoe in the Volta Region has been rendered un-motorable due to a heavy downpour in the area.Some commuters who got stranded on the road say a number of commercial vehicles got stuck in mud.The flooding is said to have occurred after a heavy downpour last Sunday. One resident who called into Joy FM said activities at Dambai have come to a virtual halt as a result.The situation is said to be worrying to the extent that passengers aboard some three Metro Mass Transit buses spent the night on the way.The Dambai - Hohoe highway has suffered similar flooding in the past.The Krachi West District NADMO Coordinator, Alhaji Baba Seidu has confirmed the flooding but says a contractor is on site to repair the road.
