To influence great health and well-being, an ultra-modern health facility, Freshwater Wellness and Therapeutic Clinic has opened in Accra.
The facility started in 2016 in Virginia, US, as Freshwater Botanicals, a skincare company by co-founders, Rebecca Amissah and Eva Nyarko.
Later in 2017, the duo nurtured the idea of elevating the company into a major health facility back at home in Ghana.

This was to serve the population and help improve the healthcare system in Ghana in general.
Fast forward to 2022, the health facility which is situated at 14 Parsnip Street at East Legon is ready to serve its purpose.
At Freshwater Wellness and Therapeutic Clinic, health is prioritised and beauty redefined.
Its services include; Primary care, Aesthetics, Men's Health, IV Hydration Therapy, Wound Care, Mental Health Counselling, Pain and Weight Management, and Home Health-care among others.
Speaking at the launching ceremony on Saturday the Co-Founder of Freshwater Wellness and Therapeutic Clinic, Rebecca Amissah assured that men’s health care will be one of its major priorities.

According to her, the facility is committed to treating erectile dysfunction problems among others.
“We are bringing in innovation in health care that we have not seen in Ghana yet. We will also focus on men’s health.
"As a society turned to neglect our men because we are mostly focused on our women but men have issues that they can’t voice out and we understand. So we are here to encourage men to voice out their issues,” she indicated.
“The other things we do is home services. If you are sick at home and can’t come to our facility, our facility will come to you and we will take care of you,” Eva Nyarko, Co-Founder of Freshwater Wellness and Therapeutic Clinic added.
