Three days before the December 2024 election, the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) awarded a revenue assurance and auditing contract to Evatex Logistics Limited, a mining and stevedoring company with no prior experience in performing this service.
This revenue assurance and auditing contract appeared to be backdated (as would be proven shortly), for evidence points to the possibility that the contract was signed after the New Patriotic Party lost the election in 2024.
The immediate past board chairman of the GACL, Paul Adom-Otchere, did not deny the allegation by management of the GACL that he brought the company in.
He has also confirmed that the procurement process for this contract started at the board level.
