Actor and comedian Funny Face recently visited the victims of the car accident he was involved in, as part of his efforts to make amends for his mistakes.
This comes after he was granted bail in the amount of GH¢120,000 by a District Court in Kasoa following his arrest after the accident.
The comedian is facing charges of drunk driving and careless driving. He spent two weeks in police custody before being granted bail.
Accompanied by journalist Kofi Adomah and his lawyer, Funny Face first met with the older woman he knocked down and her two grandchildren.
In a video shared by Kofi Adomah, Funny Face was seen kneeling and conversing with the grandmother at the hospital where she was receiving treatment.
The woman had a huge bandage on one side of her face at the time of their visit.
Funny Face received assurance from the doctors that the victim was responding well to treatment. He knelt beside her engaging in a heartfelt conversation. During their interaction, he humbly sought her forgiveness and understanding.
Despite her injuries, the woman assured Funny Face that she forgave him. During the visit, Funny Face also took care of the woman's medical bills and expenses.
Additionally, Funny Face travelled to the Central Region to see the two young kids who had already been discharged from the hospital.
The comedian again pleaded with their family for forgiveness. The mother of the young children assured Funny Face that there was no bad blood between them.
However, she urged him to go back to his beginnings and seek refuge with God in his efforts to make amends.
Grandfather of the young kids also revealed that many people including persons in the media had been pressuring them to make sure Funny Face was jailed for causing the accident.
However, he emphasised the importance of forgiveness adding that everyone deserves a second chance.
Funny Face again paid for any outstanding bills and donated some items to the family.
