Black Stars defender Hans Adu Sarpei is urging the Ghana Football Association to set up an effective monitoring mechanism to scout for young expatriate footballers of Ghanaian descent.
The Shalke 04 player has stabilized the left back position of the Black Stars team since his nationality switch ten years ago.
The Black Stars have benefited immensely from the nationality switch of the German born Ghanaian and Sarpei has told Joy Sports there are other youngsters who can be scouted to further improve the quality in the national team.
He argued that if the GFA identifies young players before they attain the age of 17 or 18 years, it makes it difficult for their countries of birth to convince them to play for those countries.
Hans Adu Sarpei has also revealed his desire to turn to coaching or scouting after his football career.
That, he said, will put him in a better stead to help identify and nurture football talents from both within and outside Ghana.
