A shareholder of Capstone Sports Samuel Okoronkwo Jnr has vowed to drag Ghana international Daniel Opare and FC Porto to Fifa for allegedly signing a deal without their knowledge.

Capstone Sports insists they hold the rights of the Ghanaian guardsman and are up in arms against the Portuguese giants for going ahead to reach a deal with the Standard Liege defender without their consent.

“Daniel signed for FC Porto without telling us, without our intervention. Apparently, Porto directly contacted him to complete a deal. We cannot tolerate these practices. We are contacting Fifa so that we, Daniel and Porto will sit down and we will get financial compensation,” Okoronkwo told Dn.pt.

Capstone Sports claims to have the rights of representation of Opare, who over the past four seasons represented Standard Liege though the player has Djuro Ivanisevic as his agent.

Opare, who can also play on the left flank, signed a contract with Porto until 2018 after his deal with Liege expired.

Opare is currently with the Black Stars preparing for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
