Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Lydia Donkor, and the Chief Executive of Ghana Cocoa Board, Dr. Randy Abbey have been nominated for the Chief Executive of The Year category of the 2025 Ghana Football Awards.
DCOP Lydia Donkor was nominated for guiding Police Ladies to a historic Women's Premier League title as chief executive.
She also led the football side of investigations into the murder of Francis Frimpong, as head of the head of the GFA's safety and security committee.
Heart of Lions president Dr. Randy Abbey was also nominated in recognition of the club's rapid rise from relegation strugglers to title contenders in the Ghana Premier League.
Former Minister of Lands and Natural Resource, John Peter Amewu was also nominated for his stellar work with Hohoe United.
Under his guidance, Hohoe United have secured Ghana Premier League qualification for next season.
Nations F.C. boss Kwame Danquah completes the list of nominations.
The 2025 Ghana Football Awards will be held on June 14, 2025.
