The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has congratulated the Black Stars on their qualification for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
A congratulatory letter signed by Chairman, Alhaji Ali Raji to the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) copied to GNA Sports, the League Club’s welfare body commended the Stars for their 2-0 victory over the Desert Hawks of Sudan last Saturday to seal qualification.
“You have proven that, with singleness of purpose, strength of mind and the right motivation everything is achievable.
“We at GHALCA are proud of you and the exploits of the Black Stars. It is our hope that the future brings the FA and the Black Stars more successes,” Alhaji Raji said in the congratulatory letter.
The Black Stars qualified automatically as Group I winners on 16 points, alongside Sudan who placed second on 13 points.
The members of the Group, Congo, bagged six points while Swaziland had no point at the end of group matches.
