The maiden edition of the Ghana Wellness and Healthcare Awards will be held on June 14, 2024 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
This award is to celebrate the outstanding individuals and organizations whose relentless dedication and innovative contributions have significantly influenced the wellness and health sector.
The Albony Foundation instituted this award scheme as their paramount to recognize and celebrate excellence in this field after the COVID-19 pandemic, which was an eye opener and a testator to the fact that no amount of accolades or support is indeed too much for our wellness and healthcare professionals and institutions.
They also believe that this will go a long way to position our wellness and healthcare institutions as it will serve as a medium to attract investors and the needed support for the Sector.
With an unwavering commitment to recognizing excellence across various facets of healthcare, the selection process for the nominees was rigorous and thorough. A panel of esteemed experts meticulously reviewed nominations from across the globe, considering factors such as innovation, leadership, patient care, research, and community impact.
The unveiled nominees were carefully selected out of over 2,700 nominations, with adherence to highest moral and ethical standards. The selected nominees represent a diverse spectrum of wellness and healthcare professionals, researchers, institutions, and initiatives that have demonstrated exceptional achievements and made profound contributions in advancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities in Ghana and Diaspora.
Over 1000 Wellness and Healthcare Professionals, Corporate Bodies and Individuals nationwide will converge to recognize and celebrate deserving award recipients at the epoch Ghana Wellness and Healthcare Awards 2024, to be hosted by the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on the 14th of June 2024; with the Theme: “Ghana Beyond Aid: The Role of the Wellness and Health Care Sector”.

According to the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee Mrs Sara Nana Yeboah, the team received 2,767 applications across the country but had to go through series of background checking to get their Best Top 3 Awardees per listed category. Every member on this list has undergone careful checks and the research team needs to be commended.

Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare amongst other notable veterans have being nominated to receive a prestigious honor due to his outstanding and exceptional contribution and service to the Wellness and Healthcare Sector over the past 4 decades.
