“Market Gha Na Ba” a company positioned to create market access and trade promotion activities for Ghanaian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) is collaborating with “My Ghana Town”, a leading outlet that stocks assorted, innovative and well-packaged Made-In-Ghana products to host the “Ghanaba Market – Freedom Edition” from Thursday 26th to 28th March 2026 at Premiere Place- Labone, adjacent Stanbic Bank and opposite Bosphorus Restaurant & Café, Labone.
The three-day fair aims at empowering Ghanaian SMEs through networking, sales, and exhibition of diverse products including food and ingredients, beverages, skin and beauty care products, textiles, apparel, garments, leather footwear and slippers and many others at hugely discounted rates. In addition to the exhibition will be live entertainment, and free financial solutions for businesses.
Inviting member of the general public to the fair, the Chief Executive Officer of “My Ghana Town” and “Market Gha Na Ba”, Rosemary Beryl Archer highlighted the significant role of SMEs in contributing to Ghana’s economic growth, recounting how SMEs have been the backbone of global economies, contributing over 50% of GDP and 60-70% of employment in many nations.
“SMEs drive innovation, foster competition, promote social cohesion by operating within local communities, and play a critical role in poverty reduction, job creation, and economic resilience. In Ghana, SMEs account for approximately 85% of manufacturing employment, representing around 85% of the private sector and nearly 92% of businesses. This fair will expose the ingenuity of Ghanaian entrepreneurs, place a spotlight on Made–In–Ghana products, and connect consumers to the producers of their favorite products”, she added.
In addition, the fair will create awareness, promote Ghanaian products and serve as a platform for businesses to generate revenue from sales of their products. Side attractions at the “Ghanaba Market – Freedom Edition” will include Health Screening by Premium Pharmacy, Eye Care by Excel Optical, Men’s Grooming by Krew Men’s Grooming, and Skin Care by Nokware Skin Care.
